- We confirm the technical scopeWe check the grade, standard and dimensions against what can be produced, and raise anything that needs your decision — for example a grade that is normally specified differently for your service condition.
- You receive a quotation with documentation optionsPrice, Incoterm, lead time, packing and the document set. Any option — third-party inspection, pre-shipment sample, specific certificate wording — is priced separately so you can decide.
- Order confirmation, then productionPayment terms and dates are fixed in writing. Material is produced at the partner works, inspected, packed and shipped with the full document set.
What makes a quote fast
- A standard reference and its revision, if your specification calls one up. It removes the ambiguity that otherwise needs a second exchange.
- Exact dimensions with tolerances. “2 mm plate” is a different order from “2.0 mm ±0.1 mm sheet”.
- Quantity for this order, plus any repeat volume you expect. It changes which production route is worth setting up.
- The destination port and required date. It tells us whether sea or air freight is realistic for your window.
- A drawing for anything machined or forged. A clean DWG or STEP file usually saves a full round of questions.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly will I get a quotation?
Straightforward enquiries for standard forms are usually answered within one working day. Custom drawings and project enquiries that need a technical review take longer, and we will tell you the expected timing rather than leave you waiting.
Do I have to specify a grade?
No. If you know the application and the service conditions but not the grade, choose “Not specified — please advise” and describe the duty. We will come back with the grades normally specified for that service.
Can I send a drawing instead of a specification?
Yes, and for machined or forged parts it is usually better. DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES and PDF drawings are all workable, and a photograph of a marked part is enough to begin.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
There is no published minimum. Small batches and mixed sizes are a normal part of what we quote. The sensible quantity is confirmed in the quotation, so send the quantity you actually need.
Will my drawings stay confidential?
Yes. Drawings and specifications are used only to quote and produce your order, and are never published or shown to other customers. Tell us at enquiry stage if a formal non-disclosure agreement is required.
